Finding Content on PRX
You know what you want, so where is it? Or maybe, you don't know what you want – so where is it?
Search PRX
You can do a general search in the search bar at the top of every page. Just enter the text you're looking for, hit "search" and you'll be given every result possible on the PRX site.
All Search Options: If you have a more specific idea in mind, try our refined search. Click the "all search options" link next to the search bar to get to specifications. You can search pieces, reviews, and members with a variety of restrictions. It's an efficient way to find exactly what you're looking for, quickly and precisely, and is especially useful when you need, for example, a Valentine's Day essay (timely: February) that runs between two and three minutes (drop-in length). Just fill in those refinements and click "search." Handy, eh?
Within "all search options" you'll see three sections: one will search pieces, the next will search reviews, and the last will search members. You cannot search all three at once, unless you return to the general search bar at the top of the page.

Scan the "Plan Ahead" Articles
For all major holidays and commemorative months, we go through the site and create lists of programs, organized by length. Curate your own themed showcase show, drop in a short commentary, or find a great documentary; the Plan Ahead articles make a quick and easy resource. Find them on the home page
.
Read the PRX Newsletter
You can always find current, interesting, date-pegged and well-reviewed work featured on the PRX home page
. We also send stations a weekly email update with highlights and links to particularly relevant, new or interesting pieces available for download. If you're a producer or just a listener and want to subscribe to the update, email: editor@prx.org
. You can view our whole archive of PRX newsletters here
.
Producers: If a date peg is approaching for a piece you've produced, or current news makes an older piece relevant again, email: help@prx.org
and send us the link to your piece listing!
Have Some Free Time? Browse!
Recently licensed pieces, new reviews and recently uploaded pieces show up on the left column of the home page. "Recently licensed," in particular, is a good indicator of what's selling. Under the "Pieces" tab, browse pieces
by length, formats (essay, limited series) and topics (art, children, travel). Under the Reviews
or Member Directory
tabs you can see what specific producers, stations and reviewers are working on and listening to.
