Station Memberships
PRX stations are noncommercial radio stations looking for new, diverse, and exceptional radio programming. Whether you are from a large news and information station in a top 30 market, or an eclectic community radio station in a small town, on the PRX you can find content to match the character of your station and its local presence.
Benefits
With a paid station membership you get much more than the 6 hours of content offered with a starter account:
- Choose the volume of content (downloaded pieces) you think your station will use over 12 months (the range goes from approximately 26 hours to 130 hours in the calculator below).
- We provide you with 30 hours of storage for posting your station's works for licensing by others.
- When a station licenses your work we pay your station royalties.
NOTE: PRX welcomes state and regional station networks to use PRX for exchanging programming.

The Station Calculator
The PRX station membership fee is based on a percentage of Total Station Revenue, and includes a package of hours that the station can acquire from PRX over the course of a year.
This calculator will give you an estimate of your PRX station membership fee. Enter your total station revenue, choose a package of hours (available in multiples of 13, starting with a minimum of 26), and you will see an estimate of your station fee.
