How to Listen on PRX
The Basics
1. Log in
On every piece page you'll find the Flash audio player. If the player shows gray, you need to log in. If you don't have an account, don't worry: you can create one
in a snap.
2. Flash Player
To listen to any piece on PRX just click the play button in the flash player found on a piece page.

3. Stations: you can download MP3s!
We make audition-only MP3 files of every piece available to stations, so you can download a piece or series and take it with you to listen. For an MP3, click on "MP3 Audition." Each MP3 begins with an announcement labeling the file as audition-only, and not for broadcast. You can always choose to license the piece in order to access the broadcast-quality MP2.
Most common audio players will play an MP3. For example, you can play an MP3 in Windows Media Player, Quicktime, iTunes, RealPlayer, and Winamp. Your computer may not be configured to use one of those programs for playing MP3 by default. If you double-click on an MP3 and it does not play as you expect, try dragging the MP3 onto the appropriate program's icon or select "Open" from within that program.
If you are not a station staff member, you will not be able to download MP3 audition files.
